Study Program Accreditation

Study Program Accreditation

ISASAHE study program accreditation checks and approves the quality of educational programs in the Adult & Higher Education Institution. This voluntary process involves a detailed review to make sure the study programs meet the International Swiss Accreditation Services for Adult & Higher Education (ISASAHE) standards.

International Swiss Accreditation Services for Adult & Higher Education (ISASAHE) study program accreditation process includes a self-assessment by the institution, followed by a review by ISASAHE Accreditation Board. The Accreditation Board evaluates the study program against the International Swiss Accreditation Services for Adult & Higher Education (ISASAHE) standards.

Criteria for Study Program Accreditation

Study Program Structure
The study program structure should be comprehensive, effective and meets the needs of students and stakeholders.

Study Program Learning Objectives
The study program should have clearly stated learning objectives, outlining the knowledge, skills and competencies students will acquire during the study program. The learning objectives should be aligned with current needs and trends of the respective industries.

Curriculum
The study program curriculum should be aligned with industry standards, incorporating theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on learning.

Faculty Qualifications
The Adult & Higher Education Institution’s faculty should have relevant qualifications, expertise and experience in their respective fields.  ISASAHE recommends maintaining a balance between experienced faculty and industry experts to provide a diverse and enriched learning environment.

Note: Faculty should possess a degree higher than the degree program in which they are teaching unless it can be demonstrated that there is proper professional experience at the graduate level.

Course and Faculty Evaluations
The Adult & Higher Education Institutions must collect feedback from students about their courses, and students should evaluate the faculty teaching those courses.
