ISASAHE Premium Accreditation designates that the Adult & Higher Education Institution will customise and implement an ISASAHE quality assurance system for the institution to achieve ISASAHE “Institutional Accreditation”. The ISASAHE Premier Accreditation provides policies and procedures to assist the Adult & Higher Education Institution in developing and implementing a quality assurance system to achieve ISASAHE standards for institution, study programs and course(s) accreditation.
ISASAHE provides guidelines for the Adult & Higher Education Institution to develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ISASAHE standards for institutional accreditation.
The Adult & Higher Education Institution is given one-year to develop and implement the ISASAHE quality assurance system with support from ISASAHE accreditation support team.
The development and implementation of the ISASAHE quality assurance system has three components: institution accreditation, study program accreditation and course accreditation. The Adult & Higher Education Institution will may choose which components it will develop and implement.
As the Adult & Higher Education Institution implements the ISASAHE quality assurance system, it will achieve the designated accreditation, for example when the Adult & Higher Education Institution develops and implements the institution accreditation quality assurance system it will achieve the “institution accreditation”, when it develops and implements the study program quality assurance system for its study program, it will achieve “study program accreditation” for those study program and the same for course accreditation.
After the Adult & Higher Education Institution has received institution and study program/course accreditation it will receive “Institutional Accreditation”.
This voluntary process involves the Adult & Higher Education Institution commitment to customise and implement the International Swiss Accreditation Services for Adult & Higher Education (ISASAHE) quality assurance system to meet ISASAHE accreditation standards.
The Accreditation Board evaluates the implementation of the ISASAHE quality assurance system by the Adult & Higher Education Institution throughout the development and implementation stages to ensure compliance with the International Swiss Accreditation Services for Adult & Higher Education (ISASAHE) standards.
The Adult & Higher Education Institution must customise and implement the ISASAHE quality assurance system to comply with the following standards:
Organisational Structure
The organizational structure should be efficient and responsive to the needs of both students and stakeholders.
Statement of Mission
The Adult & Higher Education Institution must have a clear and effective mission statement that encapsulates the institution’s aims and objectives, and is accessible to all students and stakeholders.
Institutional Policies and Procedures
The Adult & Higher Education Institution must have clear and established policies and procedures for academic programs, student support services, faculty and staff guidelines, and administrative operations.
Institutional Environment
The Adult & Higher Education Institution must have a clear vision of the type of environment it offers to students and stakeholders, ensuring it is supportive, inclusive, and conducive to learning and personal growth.
Management & Faculty Qualifications
The management and faculty of the Adult & Higher Education Institution should possess the necessary qualifications, expertise, and experience in their respective fields to effectively support the institution’s mission.
Study Program Structure
The study program structure should be comprehensive, effective and meets the needs of students and stakeholders.
Study Program Learning Objectives
The study program should have clearly stated learning objectives, outlining the knowledge, skills and competencies students will acquire during the study program. The learning objectives should be aligned with current needs and trends of the respective industries.
Curriculum
The study program curriculum should be aligned with industry standards, incorporating theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on learning.
Faculty Qualifications
The Adult & Higher Education Institution’s faculty should have relevant qualifications, expertise and experience in their respective fields. ISASAHE recommends maintaining a balance between experienced faculty and industry experts to provide a diverse and enriched learning environment.
Note: Faculty should possess a degree higher than the degree program in which they are teaching unless it can be demonstrated that there is proper professional experience at the graduate level.
Course and Faculty Evaluations
The Adult & Higher Education Institution must collect feedback from students about their courses, and students should evaluate the faculty teaching those courses.
Step 1: Submit the Membership & Institution Accreditation Eligibility Application Form
The Adult & Higher Education Institution must submit the online membership and institution accreditation eligibility form to gauge eligibility. Once Accredited Institution status is achieved the Adult & Higher Education Institution may proceed with further accreditation.
Step 2: Review ISASAHE Criteria for Premier Accreditation
These criteria serve as a guide throughout the premier accreditation process.
Step 3: Prepare the Self-Assessment Report Form for the Premier Accreditation
Complete the required sections of the self-assessment report form and provide detailed information on how the institution meets each premier accreditation criteria. Include supporting documents, such as institution organisational chart, mission statement, strategic plan, policies and procedures, management and faculty CVs/resumes, study program structure and learning outcomes, curriculum, faculty qualifications and course and faculty evaluations.
Step 4: Submit the Self-Assessment Report Form for the Premier Accreditation to the Accreditation Board.
ISASAHE Accreditation Board will review the premier accreditation self-assessment form. After the review the Accreditation Board will either grant accreditation or may ask the Adult & Higher Education Institution to update the self-assessment report form or provided more documents and resubmit.
Step 5: Receive Institution Accreditation Outcome.
The Adult & Higher Education Institution will receive a letter with the outcome of the accreditation.


If your Adult & Higher Education Institution hasn’t applied for membership and institution accreditation eligibility, please fill in and submit the membership & institution accreditation eligibility application form.
After submitting the Membership & Institution Accreditation Eligibility Application Form, please send a copy of the certificate of incorporation / registration document and any other document showing that the institution is legally allowed to offer academic or vocational training in the country they are registered in to accreditation@isasahe.org
Upon receiving Accredited Institution status the Adult & Higher Education Institution may apply for premier accreditation by submitting the premier accreditation self-assessment report form and any required documents to accreditation@isasahe.org
